Teaching Assistant - KS1 SEN Support (Mainstream Primary Hub)Location: Blackpool (FY1)Start Date: September 2026Contract: Full Time, Term Time OnlyAgency: Teaching PersonnelTeaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school, supporting pupils within a KS1 SEN hub.This is a rewarding full-time role, ideal for an individual passionate about making a meaningful difference to young learners with additional needs.The RoleYou will be working within a specialist SEN provision within a mainstream KS1 setting, supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays.Your responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupilsAssisting with the delivery of tailored learning activitiesSupporting emotional regulation and social developmentWorking closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionalsHelping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environmentThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within a primary school settingIs patient, nurturing, and resilientHas strong communication and teamwork skillsIs confident adapting learning approaches to meet individual needsHolds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred, not essential)What We OfferA supportive and collaborative school environmentOpportunities for ongoing professional ..... full job details .....
