Are you passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs?
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school within Wigan. This is a full-time, long-term position, starting ASAP.

About the Role:

• Supporting students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs
• 1:1 and small group intervention work
• Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Helping pupils access learning and achieve their potential
• Term-time only, Monday to Friday

What We''re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children or young people (education, youth work or care)
• Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour
• Passion for inclusion and mental health awareness
• SEMH or SEND experience desirable but not essential
