technical communication equipment
used in critical industries including defence, emergency services, energy, logistics, and marine.With a reputation for durability, innovation, and global reach, they’re now seeking a commercially driven
General Manager
to take ownership of the UK business unit, combining hands-on sales leadership with strategic operational oversight.This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing business with ambitious growth targets, a strong team, and the backing of a global brand, while retaining the
agility and autonomy of a small UK operation.The Role:This isn’t a figurehead role. You’ll be
leading from the front , developing key relationships with international distributors and partners, driving new business, and ensuring operational excellence across sales, supply chain and operations.You’ll bring the commercial expertise and sales energy needed to move the business forward, backed by a capable team and you’ll be expected to influence, improve, and deliver across all functions, while shaping growth for the next chapter.Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of the UK office including sales, forecasting, reporting, and people managementTake ownership of commercial growth through B2B product sales to a global dealer and distributor networkGuide and support the internal sales team, while developing high-level client relationshipsCollaborate with international HQ and wider group to ensure alignment on targets, compliance, and group directionMonitor performance across departments including admin, logistics, and product supportEnsure the UK business runs efficiently, hits its commercial goals, and maintains its reputation for service and professionalismStrong
B2B product sales experience , ideally with technical or engineered equipmentExperience working with
distributors/dealers on a global scaleA commercially sharp mindset - comfortable with margin control, pricing, forecasting, and negotiationDemonstrable experience
leading teams
and overseeing cross-functional operationsNatural leadership style: supportive, hands-on, and confident without egoAbility to operate in a medium-sized, agile UK business within a larger global groupFull-time,
office-based availability near the Herts / North West London border£100,000 base salary
