Overview

Senior Project Planner - Water Industry role with Stantec, based in the Midlands/UK offices. You will join our Major Projects Delivery team to deliver and manage schedules across water sector Design and Construction (DandC) projects.Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.Lead programmes autonomously, providing value through consulting and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.Track progress, identify risks, and proactively mitigate issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.Collaborate on projects within the Welsh Water Engineering Consultancy Framework and South West Water Engineering Consultancy Framework, with potential to work from Birmingham, Redditch, Bristol, Exeter, Derby, or Cardiff offices.About You

You will be highly skilled in managing complex projects and programmes using Primavera P6, with the ability to lead programmes autonomously.You will work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders and be able to mentor less experienced colleagues.Experience managing change within DandC in P6 in accordance with contract and client requirements.Solid understanding of DandC sequencing and interfaces.Familiarity with NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts.Previous experience in the water sector is beneficial but not essential.About Stantec
