Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Building Safety Lead to work with one of our Housing Association clients in Kent

What the job will be doing

• Manage clients response to the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Regulations.
• Manage clients approach to fulfilling the requirements of the named bills plus wider health and safety legislation relating to building safety and keeping clients-customers safe in their homes.
• Act as Building Safety Manager.
• Prepare, produce and implement key actions to ensure client-complies-with all relevant legislation and regulations in keeping customers safe in their homes in relation to building safety and fire safety.-
• Develop control methods to ensure key decision gateways are implemented throughout the life of buildings within clients housing stock on building safety and fire safety matters.-
• Be responsible for developing Building Safety Cases for our housing stock and make evidence available for customers. Ensure client fulfils it requirements in relation to this role informed by Social Housing (Regulations) Act -

What you will need

• The NEBOSH Construction Certificate and Diploma (or equivalent) is required as a minimum.
• Chartered Member of IOSH is preferable.-
• Building Safety Management qualification (Desirable)
• From a management position(s), you will have experience of driving Building Safety standards and performance across operations.-
  Hands-on, relevant industry experience and knowledge of the construction industry or repairs & maintenance is required.
