The company designs, manufactures and installs equipment used predominantly within the electrical power and distribution industry and are keen to see candidates who have worked ideally within a steel fabrication environment. Projects range in value from 2,000 to 2.2M and consist of products such as doors, screens and enclosures. Benefits: Working hours Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5pm, Friday 9.00am to 4.00pmSupport in applications to various engineering institutes and to work towards chartership.25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension and Death in Service benefitFree on-site parking Duties:The Design Engineer will Work with Projects Teams and sub-contractors during the conception, design, manufacture and installation phases of the projects.Produce accurate 2D drawings for client approvals and 3D fabrication and installation drawings.Carry out ventilation analysis (CFD) and produce reports for client approval.Produce full design packages consisting of BOMs, design specification, installation detail drawings and post installation as-built documentation.Liaise with the Projects Team to assist with the production of RAMS and site installation packs.Occasional visits to client sites, sub-contractors and suppliers with overnight stays will be required Experience: ..... full job details .....
