The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for their client based in Bury St Edmunds.Purpose of this role is to provide a proactive approach to the prevention of equipment failure and ensuring the schedule PM is carried out as planned.Ensuring Quality, waste and efficiency, KPI targets are met by working as an integral part of the team and follow all Health and Safety procedures at all times. Working hours Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm20 days holiday rising to 25 days for every year worked plus bank holidaysCompany operated a 1:3 call out systemQualifications and Job skills requiredPrevious manufacturing / processing / warehouse / cold store industry experience. Mechanical bias, qualifications/time served apprenticeship. 4 years'' experience A good standard of both written and oral English Basic Health and Safety Data and analytical skills Computer literate. (word/excel/windows-based packages) Desirable skills: - PLC, hydraulics, temperature control, instrumentation, welding, FLT/MEWP license. Use of power tools, drills, grinders, cutting equipment, saws, files, presses.Can do approach, drive and ambition towards maintenance excellence.
