A successful firm of chartered surveyors with an established local presence have recently instructed Beach Baker to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor within their busy office. This company, established 15-years ago, specialise in the residential and commercial sectors but principally working with historic / listed buildings.My client is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated surveyor who can work within a busy environment. The majority of the work is pre-purchase surveys, professional surveys with contract administration work.The successful candidate would preferably have some experience of undertaking pre-purchase building surveys and home buyer survey and valuations, and experience with Computer Aided Design would be preferable, but training can be given. You must also have a keen interest in and knowledge of traditional construction and conservation on historic / listed buildings.This is an excellent opportunity as the successful candidate has the potential to become a Director wihin a short period. The business is happy to consider individuals at all levels, however ideally MRICS or equivalent professional membership.
