A leading main contractor specialising in the refurbishment and decarbonisation of social housing is looking to appoint an experienced Projects/Contracts Manager to oversee a major framework across Cambridgeshire. This is a long-term programme valued at £12m per annum, with significant growth expected. The role involves managing occupied housing refurbishment works, with a focus on external refurbishments and decarbonisation projects (SHDF).
Responsibilities
Leading multiple refurbishment packages across live, tenanted properties
Overseeing programmes, commercial performance, compliance, and health and safety
Managing site teams and liaising with clients, customers, and stakeholders
Driving quality and efficiency across all phases of delivery
What we’re looking for
Strong background in social housing refurbishment (externals or SHDF experience)
Proven ability to manage multi-site programmes within occupied settings
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
