Home House Collection is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Events Sales and Planning team as a Group Events Executive.Why Home House Collection?Home House Collection owns two of London’s leading private members clubs. The two clubs share the same values; however, the fundamental difference is the purpose: Home Grown is for business and Home House is for socialising.As Group Events Executive you will report to our Group Events Manager and your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
Ensuring each event is effectively managed from pre-planning to beyond its completion.
Positively approaching sales opportunities to maximise revenue, including bedroom and restaurant reservations.
Ensuring every sales opportunity is realised and converted into a booking.
Staying informed of the goals and objectives of the Events team.
Being aware of and striving to exceed the monthly sales targets and annual sales plan.
Developing professional relationships with guests, members, potential members and external suppliers, acting as an ambassador of Home Grown at all times.
Handling members and potential members in a way that sales and profitability are maintained.
Responding to client requests as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours; if this is not possible, the client should be contacted with an update within 24 hours.
Ensuring that all menus and wine lists are up to date.
Ensuring effective diary management: follow up provisional bookings daily to confirm bookings; release as needed to free space for opportunities.
Ensuring that each client is issued with a contract and the deposit schedule is adhered to.
Liaising with clients to coordinate each private event in good time for the Function Sheet meeting in the preceding week; collate all details accurately on a function sheet for distribution.
Ordering flowers, equipment, DJ, bands, entertainment or any other requests from nominated suppliers.
Liaising with clients regarding delivery and collection of event materials, and communicating with the relevant team to ensure there are no mistakes.
Liaising with the Events Operations team to ensure each event is run effectively and that all parties are aware of their responsibilities.
Passing all details from the client to the Events Operations team to ensure smooth running of the event.
Ensuring all menus, place cards and table plans are completed one day prior to the event.
Following up all events to ascertain satisfaction levels.
