Are you an experienced HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Fitter looking for a better work-life balance? Join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Tipton, working just four nights a week with no weekend shifts. What you’ll do as an HGV Technician

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose and fix faults using diagnostic equipment including WABCO, Haldex, and Knorr-Bremse
• Complete all repair work to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Keep service records and job cards accurate and up to date
• Work closely with the parts department to ensure the right components are used
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant workshop environment

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Fitter
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team

Desirable

• Class 1 or Class 2 HGV driving licence
• IRTEC certification
• Experience with trailers, EBS systems, and tail lift repairs
• Background in dealership or fleet maintenance
