We are currently seeking an apprentice trained, multi-skilled engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business. This is a day shift-only role, offering excellent work-life balance and a supportive team environment.

We''re looking for someone with a strong background in manufacturing, ideally within the food industry, although other fast-paced sectors will also be considered. The successful candidate must hold as a minimum, an NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent.

Key responsibilities:

- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment
- Responding to and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Carrying out fault finding and repairs to reduce downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and projects
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records on CMMS

What we''re looking for:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry experience desirable)
- Willingness to learn and contribute to process improvement
