We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Banksman to join our team on a busy construction site", "a city maintenance project.-The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the safe operation of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), ensuring efficient communication and hazard awareness on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide cherry picker (MEWP) operators safely in and around the work area

• Monitor and control the surrounding environment to prevent risks to personnel or property

• Communicate clearly with operators using approved hand signals or two-way radio

• Ensure safe pedestrian and vehicle movement near MEWP operations

• Conduct pre-operation checks of access routes and potential hazards

• Report safety concerns and incidents in line with company policy

Requirements:

• Valid Banksman / Signaller certification

• MEWP awareness or relevant site safety training

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations

• Good communication and situational awareness

• Experience working on construction or maintenance sites (preferred)

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
