They are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Consultant on a 6-month+ contract (likely to extend) to support a key construction project based on-site near Leeds, overseeing health and safety for a site of 100+ operatives.The responsibilities of the Health and Safety Consultant will include:Oversee compliance during the installation of conveyor systemsConducting weekly audits, inspections, and producing detailed reportsCreating and reviewing risk assessments and method statements (e.g., for ladder work)Liaising directly with clients and advising the team on health and safety plans on-siteSupporting a high-volume site during a complex mechanical installation projectThe successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:Proven construction HandS experience, ideally with conveyor or automation projectsCSCS card and SMSTS (essential)NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with contractors and site teamsExperience auditing construction or environmental complianceThis is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist project team on a high-profile site with potential for longer-term work.
