food and beverage and accommodationKey accountabilitiesAs Operations Manager, you willBe responsible for the day-to-day performance of Front Office, Page Common Coffee House, Housekeeping and Maintenance departmentsEnsure consistent collaboration and communication among the departments under your care and the hotel in generalBalance the need to be hands-on in operations and the need to carry on with administration tasks in a timely fashionRegularly monitor quality, company brand standards and departmental SOPs and assess shortfalls of success, implementing remedial actions as requiredUse your influencing skills when dealing with the team, guests, external contractors, local businesses and local authorities to achieve the best outcome for the hotelComply with statutory and legal requirements for health and safety, fire, licencing and food safety and ensure compliance at all timesAs Operations Manager, you will havePrevious managerial experiences in Front Office and/or Housekeeping, preferably within a hotel.Knowledge of food and beverage and Maintenace will be beneficial.Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities to Heads of Teams while being ultimately accountable for the performances of the departmentsA strong commercial outlook, be results driven with excellent attention to detailStrong skills in budget development/management and analysis of performance metricsExceptional leadership, communication and motivational skills and the natural ability to drive guest and colleague engagementA professional appearance and manner, ability to multitask and prioritiseFlexibility to work any five days of the week to ensure sufficient management coverageAs an equal opportunities employer, Page8 is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees.
