Estimator 45,000 per annumNeedham MarketA building and construction client of ours in the Needham Market area are recruiting an Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and paying 35,000 - 45,000 per annum depending on experience.Key Duties include but are not limited to:Develop precise and competitive quotes using technical drawings and specificationsAnalyse engineering diagrams to produce customised project cost estimatesObtain and manage supplier pricing, ensuring databases are regularly updatedStay well-informed about manufacturing methods and installation requirementsOversee the complete sales process, from initial enquiry to order confirmationHandle customer enquiries professionally via phone, email, and in-person meetingsAssist in procurement to support the creation of accurate, cost-efficient estimatesBuild strong relationships with existing clients while seeking out new opportunitiesMonitor industry trends and stay commercially aware of upcoming opportunitiesAttend client meetings to review requirements and present proposalsSkills and Experience required to be considered for this Estimator position:Experience in estimating or technical sales within the construction industryStrong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to translate them into detailed quotes.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Highly organisedProficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Barbour ABI or ..... full job details .....
