Social Infrastructure

– revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.Responsibilities

Maintain own and others health and safetyCarry out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment and sites as instructedFollow health and hygiene rulesEnsure that work is undertaken with due regard to the environment: prevent contamination to water supplies and water courses; maintain site cleanliness; prevent spills; minimise disturbance to members of the public; avoid damage to trees; dispose of waste only as authorised.Backfilling of excavations to correct standards.Removal of spoil from excavation areas.Manhandle materials, plant and equipmentDrive Company vehicles with due regard to the Road Traffic Act and other road users for authorised business purposesOperate mobile plant for authorised business purposesMaintain site, vehicle, plant and equipment tidiness and securityInstall and maintain road works to “Chapter 8” standardAssist members of the public, clients’ representatives and other officials in relation to Company businessMaintain safety, environmental and quality recordsReport any accidents, near misses, faults, damages or defects using appropriate documentationUndertake any other reasonable instructions given by management or supervisionRequirements
