HVAC Project Manager

Location: London (projects across Greater London & surrounding areas)
Salary: -55,000 - -70,000 DOE
Benefits: Company car or car allowance, fuel card, bonus scheme, pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

A leading building services and facilities management contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to deliver commercial and industrial HVAC projects across London and the surrounding areas.

This role suits a technically competent Project Manager with a strong HVAC background, capable of managing projects from design coordination through to commissioning and final handover, within a structured and well-established organisation.

• End-to-end management of HVAC projects from pre-construction through to completion

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, typically valued between -100k and -2m+

• Overseeing installation of:

  • Chillers and heat pumps

  • VRV / VRF systems

  • AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, and ventilation systems

  • Associated controls and BMS interfaces

• Managing subcontractors, direct labour, and specialist suppliers

• Programme management, progress tracking, and reporting

• Cost control including budgets, forecasts, variations, and final accounts

• Liaising with clients, consultants, M&E contractors, and internal teams

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, RAMS, and technical submittals

• Ensuring compliance with:

  • Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations

  • F-Gas regulations

  • Company quality and site procedures

• Attending site, design, and client progress meetings

• Managing commissioning, snagging, O&M manuals, and handover documentation

Essential:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager or Mechanical Project Manager

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and plant

• Experience delivering commercial HVAC projects within London

• Ability to manage programmes, costs, subcontractors, and stakeholders

• Good working knowledge of UK Health & Safety and CDM Regulations

• Full UK driving licence
