We''re supporting a global insurance network with the appointment of a Reporting & Reinsurance Analyst to join their London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial reporting skills and an interest in employee benefits, multinational insurance, or reinsurance.
You''ll be part of a high-performing team responsible for delivering financial insights to global clients, managing reporting cycles, and supporting reinsurance and pooling operations.
What You''ll Be Doing
- Producing detailed client reports covering premiums, claims, loss ratios, and programme performance (pooling or captive structures)
- Collecting, validating, and analysing financial data from a global network of insurance providers
- Explaining trends and variances to internal stakeholders and multinational clients
- Supporting cession and claim recovery processes for reinsurance clients
- Managing dividend settlements and deficit offsets for pooling clients
- Attending client meetings to provide data-driven insights and answer reporting queries
- Collaborating with underwriting, sales, and client management teams to ensure consistency and quality
- Helping improve internal systems and reporting processes
What We''re Looking For
- Previous experience in insurance reporting, financial services, reinsurance, or employee benefits analytics
- Solid understanding of claims, premiums, loss ratios, and financial reporting processes
- Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working across international teams or with multinational clients
- Knowledge of pooling or captive insurance models (preferred but not essential)
