The Opportunity In this hands-on leadership role, you ll oversee mechanical engineering work across manufacturing and workshop areas, ensuring that planned activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You ll coordinate day-to-day tasks, drive standards, and take ownership of team outputs and site safety. This role goes beyond supervision you ll be expected to lead from the front, apply sound engineering judgement, resolve issues, and act decisively when challenges arise. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate work groups across internal and contractor teams Deliver and monitor planned maintenance and engineering work Support safe working practices and compliance with engineering standards Provide leadership in resolving technical, quality and safety issues Maintain accurate records through relevant reporting systems What We re Looking For NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline A recognised apprenticeship (certification required) Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment Flexible, proactive problem-solver with a ..... full job details .....
