SEN Teaching Assistant (Intervention Focus) - DE4Location: DE4, Derbyshire Day Rate: 95- 105 per day Contract: Long-term to permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm Start Date: September 2025Are you a patient, proactive, and compassionate teaching assistant with experience supporting pupils with special educational needs?We''re working with a nurturing, community-focused primary school in the DE4 area to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a focus on delivering 1:1 and small group interventions. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for someone who thrives on making a real difference to children who need additional support with their learning and emotional development.The Role: Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with additional needs Support children with a range of SEN, including speech and language difficulties, autism, and learning delay Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop confidence, engagement and academic progress Use visual timetables, structured routines and personalised strategies Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt support plans Create a calm, inclusive environment where all learners feel safe and supportedThe Ideal Candidate: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD, communication needs, developmental delay) Confident delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy Calm, ..... full job details .....
