Job Title: Trainee Solicitor (In-House) Location: Slough (office-based)Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 Length of Contract: 2 yearsAn exciting opportunity for a Law Graduate working with our blue-chip client.The Trainee Solicitor will work with the General Legal Counsel to support the business as well as provide the essential day-to-day services of an in-house solicitor across a wide range of practice areas including FCA regulation, litigation, commercial lending, employment and commercial property. They will also assist the General Legal Counsel in their role as company secretary of the group of companies. Our client will ensure that you are given all required practical and relevant experience in various areas of law in order to help you to qualify.Review and drafting of commercial and supplier contractsAssistance to the customer complaints team by providing advice on consumer law and FCA regulationAdvising on commercial lending and bankingAssisting with litigation in the evolving field of commission complaintsAdvising on legal and regulatory matters, including FCA regulationRepresenting the legal department at internal and external meetingsLiaising with and managing external counselReviewing and updating customer contracts and documentationReview of financial advertisements to ensure they are compliant with FCA rulesDrafting commercial agreementsProvision of legal updates to management and staffAssisting the General Legal Counsel as company secretaryAdvising on HR matters and ..... full job details .....
