Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the Transport Planner will join a busy team planning deliveries. This role is directly responsible for ensuring that all customers are supplied with product in the safest and most cost-effective manner, while providing excellent customer service. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Planning work across multiple locations with multiple drivers in line with the customers expectations in line with WTD and driver hours regulations. Delivering exceptional customer service by meeting or exceeding all KPI in line with the contractual requirements of the customer. Directly supervising the daily activities of all drivers and managing all operational issues and providing all required out-of-hours operational support. Responsible for providing plans to the customer in a timely manner based on their relevant orders. Controlling the contract on a daily basis, making any changes where possible when needed. Setting up daily diaries with the resource, and trucks and trailers Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, shift start times at 6am, 9am, 10am and 11am Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 weekends Requirements: Essential: The successful individual will - Have appropriate logistics/planning experience.
