A global developer operating across retail, convention and exhibition venues, offices and service spaces, is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for its shopping complex in London. This dynamic, mixed-use complex features a wide range of facilities, including retail units, dining venues, cinemas, leisure attractions, parking facilities, and more. As the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the company Health and Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry best practices. You will work closely with the Head of Risk Management and cross-functional teams to identify risks, implement controls and promote a culture of safety across all operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System. Ensure compliance with all relevant UK health, safety, fire safety and environmental legislation. Support and manage risk assessments, audits, and investigations to proactively reduce workplace hazards. Drive initiatives to achieve and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification standards. Develop and deliver annual budgets and long-term forecasts related to health and safety risk management. Propose, oversee, and deliver key maintenance and capital projects linked to risk mitigation.
