Recovery Worker

The recovery support worker will be part of a team providing effective, responsive, high-quality, resident focused support services to address the presenting needs of our Residents. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the support for allocated clients by providing practical and personal support to residents in a way that is approachable, engaging, empathetic and flexible. You will be responsible for formulating comprehensive needs assessments and risk assessments resulting in an agreed support plan, you will need to be resilient, innovative, creative and have a commitment to working collaboratively within a harm minimisation and strengths/recovery framework. Essential Requirements: Educated to GCSE level or equivalentMinimum 2 years experience working in Mental HealthExperience in helping people to identify personal goals and supporting them through a process of changeExperience of dealing with complex and difficult situations in relation to people.A sound understanding of the issues faced by people who are homeless or vulnerably housed and the difficulties they can experience in accessing services that are fully responsive to their needsExperience of liaising with and/or coordinating several individuals and/or agencies to achieve effective outcomes.Must be able to work with external organisationMust be able to complete assessments and referralsGood IT SkillsNeeds to be able to handle 10-15 caseloadsKey working 1 to 1Full time rotar basis ..... full job details .....
