P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking Electrical Engineering Team Leader to join their team based in Lowestoft on a full-time, permanent basis. Role Summary: Assist with managing the day to day activities within the electrical and controls team, ensuring technical coordination with all other internal and external disciplines whilst maintaining and developing processes, procedures and engineering standards. Other activities will include but not limited to trouble shooting, sales and application support and team building while minimising business risk. Main Responsibilities: Administration (timesheets, absence monitoring, banked hours, holidays, inductions and leaving interviews). Monitor design progress. Review and sign off designs, ensuring they fit for purpose. Allocate and monitor resources. Liaise with mechanical, electrical and control engineers. Receive internal and external audits of the design process. Conceptual design. Support assembly shop. Perform engineering calculations. Attend/lead design reviews. Test and development of new machinery. Problem solving during machinery test. Brainstorming. Complete engineering design estimates. Monitor budgetary performance. Allocate and agree corrective action for non-conformances. Monitor design to ensure customer specification compliance.
