This role offers an attractive benefits structure including 25 days'' holiday (plus Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to work in a supportive working environment.The RoleThe Assistant Production Planner will support the Head of Production and Assembly and work closely with the Procurement Assistant. They will be a key contact for assisting in processing productions through to fabrications. They will ensure procurement packs are created using bills of materials and work closely with the procurement assistant to ensure inventory of stock items are available working to the correct schedules. Key duties will include:Supporting the Head of Department (production and assembly) in developing and maintaining production schedulesLiaise with procurement to ensure all parts and materials are ordered and available in line with production needsReviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and understand parts requirementsTracking supplier delivery schedules and proactively follow up to ensure timely arrival of materialsWorking closely with Warehouse and Assembly teams to coordinate material availabilityMonitoring inventory levelsInputting and updating data in internal ..... full job details .....
