Our client a Kent based Timber Frame Manufacturer are currently looking for Permanent Production Operatives to bolster their team in Sandwich, Kent. You will be fabricating timber frames and roof trusses for end clients such as: House Builders, Social Housing Contractors, Building Contractors, and Private Developers. The ideal candidate will have Construction, manual or production experience, stem from a Labour intensive background and be able to adapt and turn their hand to a multitude of construction related tasks. WORKING HOURS There are 2 shifts that the company operate Earlies: 6am-4pm or Lates: 12noon-10pm Saturday work and overtime when available is paid at a higher rate. THE ROLE Working off a bench Preparation and cutting of timber Fabrication and Construction of Timber Frames or Roof Trusses Operating woodworking machinery keeping work area clean and tidy Loading lorries with finsihed Timber Frames and Roof Trusses for delivery to site comply with health and safety regulations REQUIRED SKILLS Good communication skills Physically fit as you will be on your feet all day working from a bench Comfortable with heavy lifting Ability to use hand and power tools specifically a nail gun Ability to use Tape measure OWN TRANSPORT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL For more information or to register your interest please contact Simon Brady at Blu-tech ..... full job details .....
