Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer: Design and develop new mechanisms and machine systems to meet project requirements.Adapt existing designs to support customer specifications effectively.Collaborate with downstream departments to execute new and existing designs, identifying opportunities for design improvement and value engineering.Conduct design reviews, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEAs), and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).Support assembly and manufacturing processes in building and commissioning machines, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of health and safety.
