We are now recruiting a Service Director, Housing to join our Prevention and Communities leadership team. This is a high-profile role with responsibility for leading a large-scale housing service through a comprehensive programme of improvement, aligned with our ambition to become a C1-rated council. Our Housing Asset Management Strategy is in place. A £230 million capital programme has been approved by Cabinet, and the Council has committed to rebalancing the HRA. This role provides focus on landlord services, compliance and asset strategy. You will lead the delivery of housing management services for over 10,000 council and leasehold properties, driving performance and improving tenant satisfaction. You will help shape the future operating model for housing services, ensuring it is compliant, financially sustainable and aligned with our long-term ambitions.
