Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy main contractor based in Portsmouth. The business is family owned and operates across Hampshire and Surrey undertaking projects across the education, extra care, super prime residential and commercial valuing up to -5mil.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing upcoming schemes, reporting into the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements as Quantity Surveyor:

• Have a HNC / construction related degree
• Have administered JCT forms of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Portsmouth
