Teaching Assistant

Location: Cardiff, Wales
Pay: £90 – £100 per day
Contract: Full-time, Temporary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join schools across the Cardiff area. Whether you''re supporting students in EYFS, Primary, or Secondary settings, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to young people’s learning journeys.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both class-wide and individual learning.

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant include:

• Assisting teachers in managing daily classroom activities
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils
• Encouraging student participation and positive behaviour
• Adapting support strategies to meet the needs of learners, including those with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural challenges

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal Teaching Assistant will be:

• Experienced in schools, care work, youth work, or mentoring
• Patient, proactive, and a great team player
• Flexible and comfortable working across different age groups or needs
• In possession of a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Eligible to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
