Multi Skilled Fabric Technician Location: Didcot Salary: £32,000We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Fabric Technician to join a facilities maintenance team based on a large estate in Didcot.The successful candidate will support the day to day delivery of fabric maintenance works across the site, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with industry standards and service level agreements.Technical CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:Minimum of 2 to 3 years site experience in a similar fabric or building maintenance roleCompleted, or working towards completion of, a recognised multi skilled training course covering trades such as carpentry, joinery, wet trades, floor and wall finishes, tiling, plastering, roofing or glazingRelevant qualification such as City and Guilds or NVQ in a building tradeWillingness to work towards a Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH or SMSTSAbility to manage a varied workload and meet contractual KPIsAbility to work on own initiative while also following supervisory directionStrong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with site teams and clientsGood understanding of building and construction terminologyKey DutiesCarry out fabric maintenance tasks across the estate to meet and exceed service level agreementsWork across a large site environment which will involve a significant amount of walkingRespond to emergency building fabric repairs and assist colleagues when ..... full job details .....
