However, we cannot do this alone, and collaboration with key strategic partners is an essential part of the process.The purpose of the Head of Partnerships role is to drive the company''s growth and strategic objectives by identifying, developing, and managing key partnerships with like-minded organisations.This involves:Strategic Alignment: Ensuring that partnerships align with the company''s business goals and contribute to its overall strategy.Growth and Innovation: Leveraging partnerships to access new markets, technologies, and opportunities that can drive innovation and business expansion.Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners to ensure mutual success and long-term collaboration.Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams across Sales and Marketing (Customer Business) to integrate partnership activities and ensure they support the company''s broader initiatives.Performance Monitoring: Analyzing and reporting on the performance of partnerships to ensure they deliver the expected value, adjusting strategies as needed.The Head of Partnerships is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing key partnerships that align with our business goals and drive growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in partnership management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.What you''ll be doing

You will develop and execute a comprehensive and sustainable partnership strategy that supports the company''s business objectives to drive sales growth through a network of strategic partnerships.Identify and evaluate potential partners across a variety of industries, including technology providers, industry associations, and other relevant organizations to target the right opportunities to achieve ScottishPower objectives.Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners to drive mutual growth and success.Negotiating partnership agreements and managing the implementation of partnership initiatives while collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of partnership activities.Monitoring and analysing partnership performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.We will look for you to remain well-educated and up to date regarding the regulatory environment of relevant products and services, working with Legal, Control, Compliance, to ensure ScottishPower and its partners always operate compliantly.Develop Director and Senior Management level relationships both internally and externally, with the objective of leading the establishment of stable and successful partnerships throughout a product or service offering lifecycle.Closely monitor competitor activity to help inform and shape future development strategies, helping to ensure ScottishPower remains in a leading position within the market while taking ownership of the drive for personal development and career development across the Partnership Team through delegation and empowerment where appropriate, regular provision of constructive feedback, coaching, mentoring, leadership and delivery of formal training.What you''ll bring

You will understand the energy sector and its regulatory environment with a strong track record of delivering partnership management for a medium-to-large business, demonstrating business development and delivery.We will look for you to have proven success in developing and managing strategic partnerships and experience working with various internal teams such as marketing, sales, and product development, coupled with the ability to develop and execute partnership strategies that align with business goals.Strong negotiation skills are necessary to secure beneficial partnership agreements with the ability to manage tasks across a variety of customers with sometimes competing priorities.A high proficiency in analysing partnership performance and using data to drive decisions, utilising your strong project management skills to manage multiple partnership initiatives simultaneously.What''s in it for you
