The successful candidate will be operating the card wrap machines alone and packing greeting cards to go to customers. They are quite fast paced machines so the successful candidate would need to be able to keep the machines fed as well as pack at the end.Responsibilities / Requirements:Staff management: have an authoritative presence on the shop floor to manage and influence all staff under your supervision.Delegate to other staff members making sure deadlines are hit and daily tasks are carried out in a timely manner.Monitor time and attendance.Carry out routine quality and throughput checks.Work with management to set KPI''s for each shift and then work to achieve them.Document the issuing of PPE and equipment.Ensure that the shop floor housekeeping is to a high standard and a safe working environment using the 5S system and other company controls.Work with the labouring and warehouse team to ensure consumables and raw materials are consistently available to production.Monitor waste and document any losses; introduce ..... full job details .....
