Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Project Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £80,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Location: Oxfordshire

We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s most respected and rapidly expanding construction delivery partners. Known for delivering high-quality industrial, logistics, and commercial builds, our client is entering a major phase of growth and looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead a new flagship project in Oxfordshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS or a Project QS ready to step up. You’ll have full commercial ownership of the project from pre-construction through to final account, supported by a forward-thinking and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities as a Project Quantity Surveyor:

• Lead commercial delivery and cost control across the full project lifecycle

• Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, payments, and variations

• Ensure contract compliance and accurate reporting (CVRs, forecasts)

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers

• Manage risk, cash flow, and commercial performance on-site

• Mentor junior commercial staff and promote team collaboration

• Ensure adherence to company policies and SHEQ standards

What We’re Looking For in a Project Quantity Surveyor:

• 5+ years’ experience in main contracting (Senior QS or ready for a step up)

• Strong understanding of JCT/NEC contracts and contract law

• Proven ability to manage budgets, reporting, and commercial risk

• Experience delivering large-scale construction projects (ideally industrial/logistics)

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
