Junior NPD Technologist This role is working for a successful, BRC AA Graded food manufacturer. The business produces high-quality food products and exceptional service to enable their food manufacturing customers to innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality. About the Junior NPD Technologist job The purpose of your role will be to support the Senior NPD Technologist with the development and innovation of products, liaising with all departments to ensure products and services are supplied within agreed specifications whilst keeping up to date with key development trends within the food industry as well as developing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, external contacts, and colleagues. Key tasks Support the development of designated new product (NPD) and product reformulation (EPD) concepts and projects from customer or internal branded development briefs. Prepare baked product samples to a high standard for internal photoshoots and customer visits (internal and external) as directed by the NPD Manager or Senior NPD Technologist. This will require new creative recipes to be generated and developed. Trial and assess manufactured products as directed by the NPD Manager or Senior NPD Technologist, writing up an assessment report against key criteria, to create a clear list of suitable applications and product features and benefits.
