Mechanical Engineer Up to £55,000 Croydon MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join an Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in the Croydon area. This role will involve leading the mechanical maintenance function on site to ensure plant reliability, safety, and performance. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Planning and overseeing mechanical maintenance, including shutdownsManaging site workshops, stores, and statutory inspectionsLeading and developing a team of Mechanical TechniciansSupporting contractor management and ensuring compliance with safety systemsDriving continuous improvement across maintenance and reliability activitiesOther duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical EngineeringExperience with CMMS and safe systems of workKnowledge of PSSR and mechanical repair techniquesStrong organisational, leadership, and communication skillsExperience managing teams and working with contractors This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.
