OverviewWe are seeking an experienced care professional to become our next Care Team Leader at Lifeways Group in Taunton, Somerset. This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers genuine career progression and investment in recognised qualifications.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the Service Manager in the leadership and day-to-day management of the service.

Recruit and develop support workers by carrying out staff supervisions, candidate interviews and providing guidance and expertise.

Maintain records with excellent written communication and IT skills.

Communicate effectively with staff, the people we support and external professionals.

Support people living with learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviours and some mobility needs; manual handling may be required.

Encourage community participation and activities for the people we support.

Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence (the role requires driving company cars).

NVQ / QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) would be an advantage. Lifeways also offers training and ongoing development for ambitious carers.
