- Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)

Working Hours

- 37 hours per week

Salary -

Up to £35,196 per annum (Oxford) and £37,414 (London) - Salary dependent on qualifications, experience and location

We are looking for an applicant who would like the opportunity to work as one of our Finance team based either in Oxford or London (Kilburn). The Assistant Management Accountant will be a varied role, ensuring the accurate delivery of core financial data in order to facilitate the distribution of meaningful information to business budget heads. You will build relationships with key members of the management team to ensure that they receive accurate and timely financial information to inform their decision making and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accounts to trial balance delivering an accurate set of figuresMaintaining budget and reforecast reports, preparing budget analysis and comparativesBusiness Partnering across the organisation to ensure understanding of budget outcomes and deliveriesReconciliation of cash inflow against bank statementsAssisting with delivery of annual audit pack and responding to audit enquiriesReconciliation between student management systems and financial ledgerFacilitating with process improvement and change within the teamUndertaking such other duties and tasks as requested

Essential Criteria:

AAT qualified or QBEProficient in use of technology and office software, i.e. Microsoft Office/ Google. Must be proficient in the use of ExcelOrganised, excellent administrative and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detailAble to prioritise responsibilities, time-manage appropriately, work under pressure and deliver to deadlinesStrong team player who embraces collaborative working and achieves results individually and as part of a teamProfessional appearance and demeanour, personable, confident, friendly, and approachableFlexible and adaptable to work as required to meet the needs of the organisation

Desirable Criteria:

Experience with Sage IntacctA passion for creative media
