Mobile Gas Engineer

Mitie Cleaning and Hygiene Services .We are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to work with a range of Mitie clients carrying out maintenance and repair, including fabric and basic electrical tasks of buildings as required under contract. You will ensure all PPM and Reactive tasks are completed to the required legislative standards and that all required paperwork is submitted within timescales.Responsibilities
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.Ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are completed within the required timescales and that certification is correctly completed; remedial works identified clearly.Perform reactive and emergency tasks using handheld technology effectively.Be available on a call-out rota to provide full out-of-hours cover and assist other team members as required.Proactively source additional opportunities or works on sites and provide information for quotes.Monitor visiting sub-contractors regarding quality of work and Health and Safety; issue permits and manage small works and escort duties as required.Qualifications
Qualified to City and Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines to the role.Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on equipment including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable).Knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices.Benefits and Environment
