We are seeking an experienced Engineering Projects Manager to join a leading food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire. In this role, you''ll oversee capital and improvement projects, ensuring they''re delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering projects, including installations and upgrades

Develop project plans, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery

Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to minimise disruption

Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and food standards

Drive continuous improvement in automation, energy efficiency, and asset management

Manage contractor performance and ensure quality standards are met

What We''re Looking For

Degree or time-served qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Project Engineering

Experience in engineering project management in food manufacturing or FMCG

Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, and compliance (CDM, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR)

Budgeting, cost control, and stakeholder management skills

PRINCE2 or PMP qualification (preferred)
