My client are a South Eastern based civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard an Assistant site manager for an ongoing project being delivered in Hertfordshire. My client operate heavily across the water and utilities sector. The scope of works you will be responsible for overseeing will include deep drainage, ducting, reinforced concrete works and groundworks.

Assistant site manager responsibilities:-

• Working closely alongside and assisting the site manager with day to day site operations.
• Monitoring site progress.-
• Managing health and safety compliance.-
• Tool box talks.
• Site inspections.
• Record keeping and site diairies.-
• Liaising with the client, subcontractors and key stake holders.
• Managing plant, labour and materials.

Assistant site manager requirements:-

• Right to work in the UK.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• CSCS card.
• SMSTS.
• First aid.
• Thames water passport.-
