Do you have robust technical knowledge across network hardware and software?This newly created role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious network engineer to play a pivotal role in the continued development and modernisation across the whole network of a fast-growing company. As the successful applicant you will take ownership of the whole network and play a vital role in the adoption of new technologies and ways of working to deliver an enterprise-wide network. You will need to demonstrate broad knowledge across multiple network technologies including security such as Sentinel and Microsoft Defender, experience of cloud networking tools and zero trust approach would be beneficial alongside exposure to Microsoft 365. Experience using Fortinet is but we are looking for candidate who can take an agnostic approach to technology. Excellent communication skills are essential; you will the face of the network team in the business working closely with the broader technology team but also business stakeholders across different sites.To be considered will need to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and act as a 3rd tier escalation point when required. You will need to influence other members of the business to consider new ways of working, adopt both new technologies and challenge existing process that have been ingrained into the business.Responsibilities

Own and manage the entire network for the organisation, driving development and modernisation across the network to support enterprise-wide operations.Champion adoption of new technologies and ways of working; influence stakeholders to embrace change.Collaborate with the broader technology team and business stakeholders across sites; act as the face of the network team.Serve as a 3rd tier escalation point for technical issues requiring advanced expertise.Maintain agnostic approach to technology while leveraging relevant security and cloud networking tools.Qualifications and Experience

Broad knowledge across multiple network technologies including security (Sentinel, Microsoft Defender).Experience with cloud networking tools and a zero-trust approach would be beneficial.Exposure to Microsoft 365.Experience using Fortinet is advantageous; ability to take an agnostic approach to technology.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at different sites.Benefits
