GSL Education is recruiting proactive and reliable professionals to take on the role of SEN Support-Post 16 College in vibrant further education settings. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support young adults with additional needs as they transition into adulthood, higher education, or the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored support as an SEN Support-Post 16 College across life skills, vocational, and academic courses
• Support individuals with EHCPs, promoting independence and confidence in and outside the classroom
• Build strong, professional relationships with students, staff, and families
• Provide one-to-one and small group interventions based on learners’ specific needs
• Monitor progress and contribute to goal-setting as part of your SEN Support-Post 16 College duties

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Previous experience working in an SEN Support-Post 16 College, SEN school, or youth support setting
• A calm, consistent communicator with a student-centred approach
• Comfortable supporting a wide range of needs including autism, anxiety, and learning difficulties
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)

As an SEN Support-Post 16 College, you’ll play a key role in helping young people become confident, capable, and prepared for their next steps in life. This is more than support—it’s preparation for independence.
