Role : Purchase LedgerSalary : 30kLocation : LancasterA great opportunity has just come in for a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant for a innovative company in Lancaster. This role will suit you if you have experience working in a complex AP arena where you have demonstrated great attention to detail and understand the full AP Process. Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately match, check, and code invoices, ensuring correct VAT treatmentOversee the work of the Purchase Ledger Administrator, offering guidance and supportSet up new supplier accounts and maintain existing supplier informationReconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptlyElectronically file invoices and maintain audit-ready recordsAct as the first point of contact for supplier and internal AP-related enquiriesBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholdersRegularly review accounts payable systems and processes, identifying areas for improvementEnter payments into the bank system and support payment run processesWhat We''re Looking For Proven, extensive experience in Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger rolesStrong understanding of VAT in relation to supplier invoicingHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisational and communication skillsConfident working independently and as part of a teamStrong IT skills, especially Excel and accounting softwareAbility to commute easily to Lancaster - this is an office-based roleWhat You''ll Recieve ..... full job details .....
