Transport ManagerWe are working with an established and market-leading, independent supply and distribution company who work with Nationwide clients.They are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to run daily transport operations at the Chessington branch while supporting compliance across two additional sites in the South. £45,000 - £50,000 + company carChessingtonFree onsite parkingKey Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day transport operations and route planningEnsure on-time deliveries and high customer service standardsMaintain FORS and Operator''s Licence (O Licence) compliance across multiple sitesOversee vehicle checks, maintenance, and transport documentationLead, motivate, and manage drivers and agency staffMonitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and produce reportsControl fuel usage, overtime, and agency labour costsEnsure Health and Safety and legal transport standards are metPerson Specification:Transport Manager CPCFORS PractitionerExperience managing a company O LicenceStrong knowledge of UK transport law and complianceExperience leading drivers / transport teamsRoute planning and fleet management experienceFull UK Driving LicenceStrong organisation and time managementConfident decision-maker under pressureCommercial awareness and cost control focusExcellent communication and people management skillsAdditional Information:Up to £45,000 - £50,000- Per AnnumWorking hours Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.30 pm (45 hr week)31 Days Holiday including bank holidays and the ..... full job details .....
