Retail Optical Assistant

at Vision Express, you’ll assist our customers in finding and selecting eyewear that meets their needs. You’ll help with frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings. Additionally, you may perform some pre-screening eye examinations and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, supporting the phone lines from customer queries and processing payments. Overall, your goal is to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our customers leave happy, with eyewear that fits properly and meets their vision needs. We are looking to support flexible working arrangements where possible.Vision Express has over 550 stores across the UK and Ireland and is part of the EssilorLuxottica family, a global leader in lenses, frames and sunglasses.Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service with personalised assistance to address customer needs and concernsCommunicate clearly, translating professional terminology into language understandable to customersMaintain accurate customer records, prescriptions and requirements to support service and product recommendationsWork as part of a team across the storeWork under pressure in a fast-paced retail environmentPromote optical products and services to help achieve store targetsArrange and maintain the store’s look and feel, keeping it organised and stocked in line with marketing guidanceQualifications and Skills
