Protection and Control (PandC) Design Engineer
to join Cundall’s growing
Power Systems
team. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary group of engineers delivering detailed PandC designs across a range of high-voltage projects — from new-build AIS/GIS substations (33kV–400kV) to renewals, retrofits, and the integration of renewable energy, storage, and critical infrastructure schemes. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign DeliverablesProduce PandC drawings including single line diagrams, three line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, I/O lists, interlocking schemes, panel GA drawings, and multicore/LAN/FO schedules.Collaboration and DeliveryLiaise with internal teams, clients, and contractors.Attend technical meetings with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Collaborate across disciplines (civil, structural, primary plant, MEP) to deliver fully integrated solutions.Quality and AssuranceManage drawing revisions and document control.Check vendor drawings for accuracy and consistency.Undertake site visits (as required) to assess constructability and support delivery.Ensure compliance with CDM and health and safety regulations.Why Join Us?
