Job PurposeWe''re looking for a detail-focused GIS professional to maintain the company''s network boundaries, asset connectivity and associated data within our Geographic Information System (GIS). Working closely with operational teams, you''ll ensure that network configurations in GIS accurately reflect real-world conditions. You''ll also play a key role in capturing, managing and sharing high-quality data for use across other critical UU systems.Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesMaintain the company''s water boundaries, district meter areas (DMA) discreet pressure areas (DPA) and water supply zones (WSZ) held in GIS.Interpret changes received from operational teams in relation to the company''s water boundaries and network assets and translate these into updates in GIS.Investigate and liaise with other business areas to resolve queries and escalated issues associated with the representation of data held in UUGIS.Provide first line support to the business in relation to network boundaries and assets and their representation in UUGIS.Work with stakeholders to ensure that the update process in UUGIS and the representation of data held in UUGIS, meets their needs and requirements.Produce and analyse a number of varying reports associated with data held and updated in UUGIS.Work collaboratively with Water Data Maintainers to ensure an understanding of how updates they complete could potentially impact the integrity of the water boundaries held in GIS.Support future system ..... full job details .....
